SED distributes a full line of standard as well as custom-built power distribution products for industrial, commercial, and residential markets. Through strategic partnerships with prominent manufacturers like General Electric and Siemens, we supply standard power distribution products such as starters, contactors, meter bases, circuit breakers, disconnects, and panelboards. With three service locations in South and North Carolina, our focus lies in providing reliable service plus value to both our contractors as well as customers around the globe.

Whether you are an electrician seeking products for everyday work, or an electrical contractor looking for custom solutions, SED can cater to your distinct electrical power distribution requirements. Our ‘Pro Stock’ arrangement with GE allows us to meet unprecedented customer demands as our branches in Greenville and Concord stock custom-built products from the manufacturer, which would otherwise be available only on special order.

We also stock a range of versatile circuit breakers, contactors, panelboards, and transformers manufactured by GE. With our GE THQP breakers, panel space can be optimally utilized for both service upgrades and new installations. All GE circuit breakers meet or exceed CSA, ANSI, NEMA, and UL standards. For agricultural, food processing, refrigeration, heating, as well as air conditioning applications, we supply a range of IEC, NEMA, and Lighting contactors from GE. Other common GE power distribution products include a range of transformers and panelboards.
